Pastor Tom and Lee Olney
Pastor Emeritus

Pastor Tom Olney became the full-time pastor of Faith Baptist in 1966, and he and his sweet wife Lee faithfully served Faith Baptist Church for 52 years. Under his leadership, Mississippi Valley Christian School was started in 1972 and has been serving the community for the past 50 years as an extension of our church. In 1979 the school was moved to the old Western Military Academy in Alton . The Olneys raised 5 children who each graduated from MVCS. These two dear folks have given themselves sacrificially over the years and continue to faithfully serve since their retirement. Tom is currently the Pastor Emeritus and is filling the pulpit on Sunday mornings as we search for a new full-time pastor.

School Administrator and Youth Director

Pastor Tim and Ann will give our teens continuity in mentorship that will last from sixth grade all the way through their young adult years. Our goal is to keep them growing in the Lord at the age where most young adults are dropping out of church. They met during their college years at Midwestern Baptist College where they studied and prepared for the ministry. They have served in several churches in the Eastern States in music, teen and children's ministries. The Lord has blessed their marriage with 4 children: Grace, Duke, Catie, and Tessa. They followed God's leading to Faith Baptist Church in the spring of 2019. Their primary roles include overseeing the School Administration and working with our youth group.
